Wilda Deter Obituary

Wilda Louise Deter passed away on October 21, 2020, in Lakeview, OR.  Wilda was born in Lakeview, to Martin and Beulah (Rehart) Vincent on January 4, 1931. 

Wilda grew up in Lake County and graduated from Lakeview High School.  She met and married Berle Deter and raised their family in Lake county.  Wilda ranched in Crooked Creek for many years on the Rehart Ranch.  She became a bank teller and moved her way up to becoming a loan officer.  She enjoyed banking and later retired from US Bank. 

Wilda was a member of the Women’s Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards (pinochle) with her friends and belonged to the Pinochle Club.  She was an avid gardener and had gorgeous flower beds.  Wilda most loved her family and spending time with them.  She enjoyed taking care of them, making sure they had all they needed.

Wilda is survived by her sons; Martin (Patty) Deter and Donald (Verna) Deter; 4 Grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Wilda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Berle Deter, and her brother Don Vincent

There will be a private family Celebration of Life for Wilda in the spring.  Memorial contributions in Wilda’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
