Sally Jean Burneikis passed peacefully on October 2, 2021, with most of her kids, grandkids, and her animals that she adored surrounding her, loving her, and letting her know that it was alright to go.
She was born in Astoria, Oregon on September 13, 1939, to Bobbie Moore, and raised by her beloved Daddy Harold Yderstad and & stepmother Wilma Yderstad.
Sally owned “Just Stuff Antique Store” in New Pine Creek, Oregon for 35+ years. Hands down one of the best Antique Stores on the West Coast. She took great pride in her business and it showed. She loved her customers, and many of them became lifelong friends.
She also loved her family! She would say “I Love You More Then You’ll Ever Know”.
Sally was survived by her sister, Sandy Rice, daughters; Jaymie Richardson and Lori Jandera, sons; Frank (Janie) Jandera , Michael Johnson and Tim Johnson, grandkids; Taj LeMieux, Jessica Strain (Vicente), Cassy Hatfield (Steven), Tawnya Soong (Cari), Dawn Geaney, Andiea Jandera, Lindsey Corey (Patrick), Wesley Jandera (Cassandra), Monica Johnson, Sally Kalenbach, great-grandkids; Opal, Pearl, Brick, Mia, Karmen, Maddie, Isaiah, Jackson, Olivia, Samantha, Sophia, Emily, Rayas, Arbor, Atalynn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother; Ed Horton, one of her favorite people, her brother-n-law, Lanny Rice, her very best friend, Kathy Shaw, and many more friends and loved ones. So, we know there’s one heck of a party going on in heaven.
Sally had a serious love of animals and she leaves behind Squirrely Shirley, Blacket, and Kitter.
A celebration of life for our beloved mother Sally will be held in the spring at Goose Lake Park. Details will follow later.
The family is asking that instead of sending flowers, memorial contributions could be made to Lake County Food Share, PO Box 1330, Lakeview, OR 97630, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Sally always felt that if we were so blessed to enter into this world surrounded by love, and to give and receive love during your time here, to go out surrounded by love, your life was a success. In that respect, she was one of the most successful women ever!
She will forever be missed, and in our hearts forever. May she forever rest in peace
