Ronald Elvis Forga, 75, passed away on January 16, 2022, at home in Paisley. Ron was born in Norman, Arkansas June 30, 1946, to Elvis and Edith Forga. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Lake County and settled in Paisley around 1959, where Ron graduated High School and called home until his passing. Ron joined the Army National Guard following high school and began his working career. Ron’s primary occupation early on was logging, and then began working at the Paisley Fremont Sawmill, transferring to Lakeview Fremont Sawmill where he retired. Ron was an excellent equipment operator in which he took great pride.
Ron loved Lake County and spent time enjoying the outdoors hunting, fishing, and exploring the area. Ron had a love for cars and was known for his 1965 Mustangs and was a member of the High Desert Cruisers. He also spent time volunteering for the Paisley Fire Department, Paisley Disaster Unit and served many years on the Paisley School Board. Ron enjoyed being a supporter of Paisley Bronco school sports and could be found at most events. Ron’s priority however was his family. He was very proud of his family and looked forward to spending time with them especially around the holidays, he visited his immediate family frequently. Ron was a caring soul who often helped others in need. He was large in stature however known as a gentle giant.
Ron is survived by his son Adam Forga, daughter-in-law Sarah Forga, granddaughter Eleanora Forga, sisters-Sue, Carolyn, Janice, Becky, brother Johnny and their spouses, nieces and nephews, his beloved dog Kit, and many others he considered family.
At Ron’s request, there will be no public services.
