Robert Everett Davis passed away at his home in Paisley, Oregon on March 7, 2023, at the age of 74.
Robert Everett “Bob” Davis was born on January 30, 1949, in Alturas, California to Robert H. Davis and Celia E. Hughes (Davis). As a child, Bob spent his days on the Bear Ranch in Eagleville, CA, and several different ranches, between California, Nevada, and Oregon. His family moved to Paisley in 1963, where his father opened the Chewaucan Garage. He graduated from Paisley High School in 1967. In August 1967 he joined the military, where he would serve his country until August 1971.
Bob then returned to Paisley, Oregon where he started a logging company in 1973. After selling his logging business, he took over the Chewaucan Garage in 1986 and married in 1987. He was blessed with 2 children in 1989(Robert L.) and 1991(Grace). Bob loved spending time with his children, especially if it meant being on the mountain snowmobiling, riding dirt bikes, and camping. He was proud of his 2 grandchildren Robert Owen and Christina.
He was a kind and caring man who was always there to help anyone in need up until his passing.
He is survived by his children, Robert L. Davis (Amy) of Paisley, OR, Grace Davis of Portland, OR, his sister Kathleen Colyer (John) of Custer SD, 2 grandchildren, and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert H. Davis and Celia E. Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions and donations to the Paisley Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 27 Paisley, OR 97636, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
