Roa Marie Bryan died in Lakeview on January 2, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born July 27, 1942, to Rainhard Henry Edward Scheel and Wilda Arlene Sharples Scheel in Creston, Iowa.

Roa moved to Lake County in 2011 to be with her daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law in Plush OR. She loved making beaded jewelry and helping her husband in his saddle shop. She enjoyed riding her horses, going to rodeos, and barrel racing.

Roa is survived by her daughter, Teresa Black, son-in-law, Bill Black, and granddaughter, Montana Black of Plush; granddaughter, Nikcole Jean Carter, and great-granddaughter, Ava Jean Carter of Tennessee; daughter, Lori Clarke of Harrisonville MO and cousin, Gary Scheel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis “Denny” Bryan; father, Rainhard Henry Edward Scheel; mother, Wilda Arlene Sharples; brother, Edgar Paul Scheel, and uncle, Lyle Scheel.
