Patricia Yenez (Ruda) Cardoza-Robnett

Patricia Yenez Robnett, 86 passed away in Lakeview on Thursday June 11, 2020.

Patricia was born to Joseph and Irene (Lewelling) Ruda on November 23, 1933 in Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo Caounty, California.  See Canyon is where she spent her childhood, running around and playing in the Orchards.  She attended school in San Luis Obispo and graduated high school there in 1951.

Patricia met and married Anthony Cardoza, he picked her up from her last day at school took her to the jewelry store to buy a ring and they married in June of 1951.  They lived and worked in San Luis Obispo until they came to Lakeview in 1972.  Anthony and Patricia were married for 45 years until his passing in 1996.  She later met and married Darvin Robnett and they were married in August of 2000 until he passed in 2007.   

Patricia loved her family most, caring for them and keeping her house clean were important to her.  Raising her 3 boys was her main focus.  Patricia’s life was full of family, ranch work, and friends.  Her life consisted of following her kids around to clean up after them, as a “clean house” was a “happy house” for Patricia. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Irene Ruda and both her husband’s; Anthony Cardoza and Darvin Robnett, Patricia was one of 5 children in her family and she was the last one living.

She was survived by her Sons; Tony (Nita) Cardoza of Paisley, OR, Matt (Cathy) Cardoza of Winnemucca, NV, Nick Cardoza of Lakeview, OR and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

The Family would like to give a special thank you to the Lily house caregivers for their great care and compassion in the care of Patricia.

There will be a private graveside service and dedication of the grave at Sunset Park Cemetery.
