Nickie Halter Obituary

Nickie Lea Halter, 76, passed away at her Lakeview home Sunday, June 14, 2020.

Nickie was born on May 12, 1944, to Donald and Hazel (Akins) Peters in Vancouver, Wa.

Nickie met her husband, David Halter, in Grants Pass and they were married in 1976. After living in the Rogue Valley and Roseburg, they made Lakeview their home in 1995.

Nickie loved fishing, river rafting & rockhounding.

Nickie was preceded in death by: her parents, sister & son.

She is survived by: her husband, David of Lakeview; son, Daniel McKeon & his family of Creswell; sister, Susie Kastner & her family of LaPine; mother-in-law, Louise Halter of Lakeview; sister-in-law, Heather VanDomelen & her family of Issaquah, WA; grandsons, Trevor & Josh;
granddaughters, Jessica, Susan & Nicole, and several great-grandchildren and many loving friends.
