Mason Zachery Grassman, age 19, passed away at his home, tragically, in Silver Lake Oregon on March 2, 2022. Mason’s death was a long spiritual battle, and Satan used alcohol as the window to deceive him. Mason would want everyone to know Christ is King and is the only way.
Mason was born in Bend, OR on August 8, 2002, to Dustin and Courtnie (Bennett) Grassman. Mason grew up in Silver Lake and Christmas Valley, OR his entire life where he graduated high school from Solid Rock Christian School in 2021.
Mason was creative and that led him in drawing, leatherwork, and the start of Grassman Leather where he made custom pieces for many. He enjoyed farming, cowboying, and the outdoors, but most of all he knew the Lord as his Savior. Mason believed that Jesus Christ was His Lord.
Mason was a great brother and also loved people, he was a friend to everyone, didn't want to leave anyone out, and liked to make others smile and feel good about themselves. He didn't know a stranger, and he never wanted to see his friends or family sad without trying to cheer them up.
Mason married his best friend and sweetheart, Harmonie Haff on August 28, 2021. Mason loved taking Harmonie out to see the new calves and enjoyed feeding cows together.
Mason is survived by his wife Harmonie Grassman, parents, Dusty and Courtnie Grassman, brothers, Tristan, Logen, and Evan Grassman.
His family finds comfort knowing he is at peace, but he is so greatly missed. You were a better person for knowing him. He was a true light in the world.
A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the North Lake High School, 57566 Fort Rock Rd. Silver Lake, OR at 3:00 p.m. with a potluck meal to follow please bring a side dish or a dessert.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mason to his wife, Harmonie Grassman at gofundme.com/Mrs. Harmonie Grassman, or to the Rodeo Bible Camp of Oregon C/O Scholarship Buckle Contribution, PO Box 81, Powell Butte, OR 97753, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
