Marvin Dooley Obituary

Marvin Triston Dooley was born June 25, 1971, in Healdsburg, California. He passed away Monday, May 16 2022 in Bly, Oregon at the age of 50 years old.  Triston was born to parents Kim Triston Dooley and Jacqueline Marie Fonnest. After he was born his family continued to live in my Hopland, CA. They moved to Bly, Oregon in 1977. Later in life, they moved to Lakeview Oregon where he lived until his passing.

In his early years, he worked logging in the woods and working in the mill. His hobbies included anything outdoors, Fishing, Hunting, and riding ATVs. He was a lifelong Raiders fan, he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and a good game of hacky-sack.  He was very crafty and could make anything by hand. He wrote poetry, was a very lucky poker player, and loved loud music. He always had a dog that he loved very much. Triston lived his life to the fullest and did not let any obstacle stand in his way. He loved his friends and family very much. He had one grandchild, Vada Yvonne Allessio. He was so proud to be a grandfather and loved to brag about his Grandbaby.

Triston is survived by his daughter Kylee Rae Allessio, her husband Vincent Allessio, and their daughter Vada Yvonne Allessio of Sutherlin, Oregon.

His mother is Jackie Marie Clause of Lakeview Oregon and his Father is Kim Triston Dooley of Lakeview Oregon.

His sister, Theresa Rae Pointere, and her son Geoffrey Dawson Pointere of Lakeview Oregon. His niece Bailee Marie Cooley, her husband Raymond Cooley, and their two children Abel Raymond Cooley and Ashlynn Marie Cooley of Lakeview, Oregon.

His brother William David Dooley and his two children Aspen Nicole Dooley and Zachary David Dooley of Lakeview Oregon. He is also survived by his brother Chance Joseph Clause of Lakeview, Oregon

Triston is proceeded in death by his Grandparents Marvin Triston “Bud” Dooley (died 2012) and Doris Faye Dooley (died 2010) of Hopland, California, and His Grandmother Claudia Reck (died 2007) of Cloverdale, California. His Grandparents Dave and Marge Pollock of Bly, Oregon, and his Uncles Richard Phelps, Warren Dooley, Doug Fonnest, and Marty Gower (died 2019), and Aunt Claudine Pardi (died 2022).

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held for Triston at the Goose Lake state park day-use area on June 18th, 2022, at 1:00 PM PT. There will be a short service and then a potluck to follow. Please bring your favorite side dish and share your memories of Triston with his friends and family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Triston’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
