Johnnie Warren Obituary

Johnnie Lee Warren, 74, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at the Lake District Hospital.

Johnnie was born March 7, 1948, in San Mateo, Calif. to Tommy and Gladys Warren.

After high school, Johnnie joined the Navy.  He resided in California, moving to many different places, before moving to Lakeview in 2007 where he made his home. He worked in construction, truck driver, butcher, a driver for the Senior Center, and was a hairdresser!! He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lakeview

Johnnie enjoyed working on cars, both mechanically and in maintenance as well as rebuilding them. He loved Karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; and two brothers, Ken Perry, and Bill Perry.

Johnnie is survived by: his wife, Carol; children, Joshua, Tammy, Shawnee, and Karnette; sisters, Lanora Ross, Barbara McCoy, and Rosie Thomas; step-children, Lisa Anderson and Chris Vossen; grandchildren, Johnnie, Reese, Alicia, Khori, Anayla, Lachelle, and Lindsay; and great-grandchildren, Toni, Riley, and Piper.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the 7th Day Adventist Church, 801 S. F St., Lakeview.
