Emma Louise (Parker) Davis

Emma Louise Davis passed away in Lakeview with her family by her side on July 18, 2022.  She was born November 14, 1933, to Joseph and Irene (McMillin) Parker at 5:55 AM in Burns, Oregon.

Her family moved around a lot when she was growing up--she graduated from Ontario High School in 1951 and then moved to Caldwell, ID to attend college for a year before moving to Elko, NV in 1954 and finally Lakeview, OR where she remained for the last 47 years.

Emma worked at Woodgrain Millwork in various positions for 33 years. She also worked a second job at the Indian Village washing dishes in the early 1990’s. She was a very hard worker and did anything to ensure her family had everything they needed or wanted.

In her free time, Emma enjoyed knitting, sewing, caring for her pets, watching NBA basketball games, and attending her kids/grandchildren's sporting events. She was extremely devoted to family--her world revolved around her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Emma was preceded by her, parents, husband, siblings, James Parker, June Poole, and Jerel Parker, and a daughter Teresa Kane.

She is survived by daughters, Marti (Pat) Petersen of Lakeview, OR, and Billi (Mike) Hotchkiss of Lakeview, OR, grandchildren, Kylie Leach and Javier Michel of Lakeview, OR, Jaren and Courtney Robertson of Sherwood, OR, and Payton and Teona Hamilton of Lakeview, OR, great-grandchildren, Gage and Grayson Leach, Berkley and Parker Robertson, and Landyn Hamilton.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel, with a reception after at the Elks Lodge, in Lakeview, OR.
