David John Crumrine, 57, was a caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Dave left this world unexpectedly on February 4th, 2022, in Lakeview, Oregon.
Dave was born in Klamath Falls to John and Chandelle Crumrine and lived in Lakeview since he was five years old. He began school at J.T. McDonald Kindergarten and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1983. He attended Eastern Oregon State College.
Dave began his work life on ranches, in the woods, and at Woodgrain Moulding. He and his wife, Kathy, owned Lakeview Distributing for twenty years, and he most recently worked for ODOT.
Dave was the most generous, diplomatic, kind-hearted, and easy-going person. He loved the outdoors and spent countless hours camping, fishing, hunting, playing golf, and coaching Little League baseball. He also enjoyed his bass boat, playing cards, going to Reno, and spending time with his grandkids.
Dave is survived by his wife Kathy (Hamilton) Crumrine, son Michael (M’kenzie), daughters Lisa (Dale), Jamie (Jeremy), and Corey (Jamison), parents John and Chandelle, mother-in-law Lou, sister Lana, brother Bob, grandchildren Fallon, Paycee, Trinity, Alexa, Evan, Irelynn, Crew, and Clarke, plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law Ken Capps.
Donations in Dave’s honor can be made to Lake County Food Share, PO Box 1303, Lakeview, OR 97630, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
There will be a visitation day planned for Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 9 AM to 4 PM, open to the public. The graveside service will be held at Sunset Park cemetery on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
