Claudia Lee (Harris) Newman

Claudia Lee Newman was born December 14th, 1942, to Jake and Thelma Harris in Lakeview, OR.

She went to be with Jesus on Aug 12, 2022, in Klamath Falls, OR.

Claudia was first and foremost a woman of God, her ministry and faith have touched many people throughout the years. Throughout her life, her reach with God cannot be fathomed or counted, the many acts of kindness, and compassion towards others. She truly lived through the word of Christ, and the world will be a little less bright without her in it.

She had a wonderful family; her first-rate husband Stanley, of 61 years, a son Michael who sadly passed away in 1965, and 3 daughters Stacy (Ray) Christy (Frank), Lisa (Bill) including her precious pride and joys, (7) grandchildren and (5) great-grandchildren. She also had a loving sister, Betty Edwards.

She will be remembered as a lovely wife, an amazing mother, a glamorous grandma, and an ornery great grandma. Every member of our family had a special relationship with her, and she will be greatly missed. She was the ultimate Glam-ma.

While we are deeply devastated by her loss, we are happy in knowing that she is up in heaven with Jesus giving him a run for his money!

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 9-5 at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, OR and per Claudia’s request a private graveside service will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Lakeview, OR.

Memorial contributions can be made in Claudia’s memory to the High Desert Hospice 2210 Shallock Ave, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.
