Charissa Dianne Kucera

January 19, 1961 ~ May 18, 2021 (age 60)

Charissa passed away suddenly on May 18, 2021. Charissa Dianne Kucera was a strong woman who lived a life of adventure.  Born in Seattle, Washington on January 19, 1961, to Paul and Carole Claassen, she was the youngest daughter and third sibling in a family of four children.

Charissa was a natural caretaker who worked as a nurse and nurtured her daughters and many treasured pets over the years. In 2011 she moved her life from Seattle to Christmas Valley, Oregon to fulfill her dream of living off the grid.  She flourished in Christmas Valley and met her love John Widenoja, with whom she recently celebrated a 10th anniversary. She also grew a loving community of friends.

She is survived by John, her daughters Aurelia Kucera and Morgan Williams, her siblings Dulcie and Lark Claassen and Kali Kucera, and her parents Carole and Paul, who all love and miss her deeply.
