Brian Strawn Obituary

Brian Craig Strawn, age 76 went to be with the Lord in Lakeview, Or on November 24,2023.

Brian was born to Henry Keith Strawn and Ethel Pauline Strawn in Ontario, Or on June 9,1947. He was the youngest of four children.

Brian was raised in Fruitland, Id, where he attended school.  He joined The Army National Guard on December 20,1964 and was honorably Discharged.

On December 9, 1970. On March 23, 1968, he married Arlene Elizabeth Anderson.  They had two children, Daniel Lee and Shawnie Brilene in Ontario, OR where they resided until work transferred them to Lakeview, Or in 1980.

Brian was proceeded in death by his wife, (Arlene) Mother, (Ethel), Father, (Keith), Sister, (Lorraine), and Brother, (Dean).

He is survived by his partner, Sheila Morris, oldest brother Gary, children Dan Strawn, Shawnie Bolton, seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brian was a loving husband, Dad, and grandpa in which he enjoyed. Spending time with his family, teaching and mentoring them through life!

Other hobbies included spending time in nature, hunting, fishing, quadding, Camping, searching for artifacts and exercising his second amendment rights.

Some of the occupations he held included Fireman, Mechanic, Millerite, and mill worker. He was very active in Lake County Search and Rescue until he couldn’t do it any longer. Brian’s life impacted many and he was loved and respected.

He would do anything for anyone. He will surely be missed by all that loved him.

There will be a celebration of life for Brain at a later date.
