Betty Lou Morris

Betty Lou Morris passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2021.

Betty was born to Paul and Carrie (Hutton) Ortwein, on August 5, 1929, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Betty was married to Billy Ray Morris on October 23, 1948, and raised a beautiful family with a legacy to carry on for generations to come.

Betty was an avid quilter and loved to hunt.  She also enjoyed the holidays and decorating for them.  Halloween and Christmas were among her favorites.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy, Daughter; Marion Fay Caswell, and a son; Jimmy Ray Morris

She is survived by her beloved dog Rowdy, Brother; Bill Ortwein, Sisters; Dora Jun e Ortwein and Joyce Moore, Daughter and son-in-law’s Carrie and Scott Cummins, Connie and Sam Start, son; Jerry Morris and son-in-law; Delbert Caswell, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family celebration will take place at a later time.
